Hello All,
I have to manager about 30 oracle 10 and 9 databases.
Right now I'm setting up a recovery catalog and I would like to use stored scripts.
unfortunaly not all the scripts I use for backing up the databases are the same, they are oracle 9 and oracle 10 specific and also the paths (backup locations) in the scripts differ.
What would be best/easiest to manage:
-use global stored scripts for the rman stuff that is the same for all databases and use local stored scripts for database specific options like the backup challel.
-use only local stored scripts, so every database gets it's own backup script.
