Well I`m comming from MS SQL and there if you have .mdf file you can attach database, if you have .bak file you can restore database. So I`m not sure what does it mean if I have .dbf file .. can I restore or attach database ...

Thanks,
Ivan.

not only .DBF you must need controlfiles...redologs files..pfile/spfile...password file.
if you have all thses files then you can run your database.
