hi!
I want to register my 9i database on oracle 10g. I searched on google also but nothing specific was there. If any of u can provide the steps or any kind of link telling me how to do this.

I think you need to edit the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora on the oracle10g client so that the rman is able to connect to the target db.

register database
