We are upgrading our Active Directory, Network to fit into the new parent standards. We have over 100 Discoverer reports that support our business. When our Chenni vendor made a fix months ago, they recreated the user id and it wiped out most of the discover reports, and admin tool. I spent many weeks recreating reports from scratch, and dealing with hostile clients.

My question: How do we export ALL the discoverer reports to some safe harbor in the event the Oracle ID must be recreated and the DMP restored? All of our reports are within the /opendb format, since the vendor said that was safer then using the .DIS format on a protected drive.

I'm using Rel 4.1.37.00.0 and 9i Rel 9.2.0.1.0

In order to prevent (possible) discussion in both topics, I'm locking this one. Here is a link to the same topic in the Reports forum.
