Hi to every one.

can any one send hot backup script and how to schedule it every day at 10 pm
aand how to schedule cold backup.

i am new to oarcle dba. please any one send me suggestions.

Hi,
how to schedule cold backup.
On which platform if WINDOWS.go through below link

or if *nix use CRONTAB utility. and schedule your job like.

linux@oracle]crontab -e
#press i or a for insert.
0 22 * * * /u01/app/your_shell_script.sh
#shift+ZZ for close 
linux@oracle]crontab -l #check crontab contents
linux@oracle]crontab -r #remove crontab entries.
