I want to run an import to windows from solaris export. Can anyone tell me the syntax to handle the new names of the file systems in windows?

We're using 9i r2

HUH?
I would suggest to avoid using pathnames & only work with files within present working directory.
Unix is case sensitive; while Windoze is case insensitive.

Let me see if I can better explain;

On the solaris box mydb is in /db/somewhere and /db/somewhereelse

On the windoze server it needs to be d:\here\and\there and d:\here\and\notthere

How do I specify the import to put the tablespaces in a certain place?

If you maunally pre-create the tablespaces prior to import, Oracle won't try to create them during the actual import.
