i drop dual table from the sys's account.
and user_object from a spacific user account.
now my database is mounted, but not opened.
i want to open my database without re-create new database.
it can be possible.??
can i recover it?,by using some spacific commands
Please help me.

how come you achieved deleting the dual table?and what were you trying to do actually?

Great. You broke your database. You did physically drop DUAL? Why on earth did you drop anything under SYS? I hope that you don't do this for a living. SYS is a maintenance account (the dictionary owner), you don't mess with it. A full restore might be an option, if you have a backup...

I hope that you don't have privileges on a production machine.

hi,

when you try to open your database any error you getting if yes plz. post here.

and also post last few lines of alert.log file. ( oraclehome/admin/<sid>/bdump/alert.log)

i was go to sys's account and drop the dual table from here.
do't worry amul, it is not a production database.
it is only for r&d.
now my database is in the mount stage not in opened stage.
can i open it or not...??
if yes then how??
please tell me.

PS:
Dropping the SYS objects are just about bad & nasty things to do.
Last time that was done, we almost fired the so called 'DBA'.
