Hi,
The restore database process was broken and after that I can repeat restore and recovery of database successfully. I get the following message:
restore not done; all files readonly, offline, or already restored
Oracle database is 9.2.0.5.
Backup is done using rman. Day before I try restoring I created full database backup and backup all archivelog files with controlfile autobackup option.
I try to execute the following workflow for restoring process:
startup nomount;
set DBID
restore controlfile from autobackup;
alter database open;
restore database;
Does anybody have idea how to restore my database?

I try the following issues when I started sqlplus (database not open):
SQL> select username from dba_users;
select username from dba_users
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01219: database not open: queries allowed on fixed tables/views only
SQL> alter database open noresetlogs;
alter database open noresetlogs
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01610: recovery using the BACKUP CONTROLFILE option must be done
SQL> alter database open resetlogs;
alter database open resetlogs
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01194: file 1 needs more recovery to be consistent
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/u2/oradata/wmh4/system01.dbf'
So my conclusion was that is necessary to restore and recover database again but you have already seen in previous post what is happened when I try to restore database.
I think that somewhere is written that the restore process is started and didn't finish yet and that blocks the new restore process.
Have you any idea where can be such kind of information.
Maybe to drop all dbf files and try again to restore all database?

Not sure how you did the backup.
Try in this sequence ( should'nt make any difference at all).
Only difference is, I am issuing the recovery explicitly within RMAN.
run {
restore controlfile;
restore database;
sql "alter database mount";
recover database;
sql "alter database open resetlogs";
}
