hi all
when i open my db it returned following message.i dont have any
backup .

plz help me



ORA-01109: database not open
Database dismounted.
ORACLE instance shut down.
SVRMGR> startup mount
ORACLE instance started.
Total System Global Area 84121628 bytes

Database Buffers 26943488 bytes
Redo Buffers 77824 bytes
Database mounted.
SVRMGR> alter database open

ORA-01122: database file 8 failed verification check
ORA-01110: data file 8: 'D:\DATA\MAINMTR01.DBF'
ORA-01207: file is more recent than controlfile - old controlfile

Hi,
Make datafile offline using following command. And then try to open your database.

ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 'D:\DATA\MAINMTR01.DBF' OFFLINE;

SQL> conn sys as sysdba
Enter password:
Connected to an idle instance.
SQL> startup
ORA-01081: cannot start already-running ORACLE - shut it down first
SQL> shutdown abort;
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Database mounted.

( if u don't have any bkp then just create new control file )
SQL> shutdown abort;
ORACLE instance shut down.
SQL> startup nomount;
ORACLE instance started.
