In Rman, when you take a full backup the following files are backed up
1.All datafiles except Temp files
2.Controlfile and SPfile
Hence above files are required.

In full backup.

File involved are
1. All datafiles except Temp files
2. Controlfile and SPfile

Active Redolog file is not backedup by RMAN and through Unix Scripting also we should not take backup of active redolog file.

But its good practice to take backup of archive file.

Dont forget to check that, your backup is good enough to work after restoration.

when ever you make any change in your init.ora file take its backup and after changing init.ora also take one more backup of it...
