I'm getting this on 1 of my databases under EM GC any time I try to do a backup, crosscheck.... Anyone know what this is "Unable to open tempfile for OUT_PUT"?

this is to do with write permissions.
May be you OEM 'user' is not having write permssions to write the logfiles.

Not sure. I do not use RMAN with OEM.
Check your diskspace. See where the logfiles are written.
Make sure the OS user has write permission to the directory.

The user that was logging on did not have admin rights. Its the user you choose when using EM. I changed the rights to admin and all is working. Thanks a bunch and have a great day
