I want to know, is there a way I can give the name of backup set. or before doing i know, which all backup set will be created, during a database backup. How many backup set will be created and full name of all backup set.

Can u tell me the variables we use in backupset name like %u, %d etc. what does this means and how are they genrated, Is there a document for all variables.
