I have a oracle 9i database on windows 2000, I have the database in noarchivelog mode, I shut down the database and took the whole database backup, and then started the database. Now my database crashed, but the redo logs were not overwriteen, now I, want to make complete recovery. I restored the datafiles, now how can I, apply the redo logs?

If you have restored correctly and as you said "redo logs are not overwritten" then Oracle will apply the redo logs automatically.

You mean to say that after restoration, I give the command, recover database until cancel and then open it with, alter database open and it will work?

Why Recover database until cancel ??

I believe Recover database is enough.
