Hi

MY PC crashed when I was trying to generate some test data this morning and it has left the UNDOTBS01.dbf file corrupted.

I had spend about 6 hours creating data (and no - I hadn't taken a backup )

Is there anyway round this problem or do I have to start from scratch?

If there is a workaround it may stop me having a nervous breakdown as I have until 5am to have a system ready for protyping with our cutomers!

Sandi.

In cases of UNDO log corruption, the following steps to be followed:
• Change the undo_management parameter from “AUTO” to “MANUAL”
• Create a new UNDO tablespace
• Drop the old UNDO tablespace
