an simple experiment:
when oracle db was running,i copied controlfile to somewhere. Then insert some data to db and commit, afterwards copied the old controlfile to overwrited the current controlfile, then startup the db,and it's ok.
I thought controlfile was not consistent with the all datafiles, but why did it can startup successfully without recover???
As some oracle db been startup, how and what scns would be compared in the the datafiles with in the controlfile(in dump controlf level 10,there is so many scns),somebody help me?
