Hello everybody,

My company is going to update Oracle version from 8.1.7 to 10.
I have to export all the db structure and data to the new version.

Someone can tell me which is the best solution or list some steps?
I don't know much about RMAN but I know there is a backup of Db with this utility, so I can use it if necessary.

The steps listed in Oracle's Upgrade Guide are more than sufficient. Read them first, if you then still have questions, please post them here.
