sorry .i means my 1'stly question how to recover database if operating system corrupted?i want step by step with script.
my 2'nd question how to restore database again from dbf file?i means if my server is corrupted and also loss my backup now i have only dbf file then how to restore it again?

No information on your operating system, oracle version, your backup method, your need or whatsoever.
With the wealth of information, i cannot generalize.
Backup/recovery procedures cannot be generalized and vary from site to site.

Read the docs, understand what is happening, set your own test database/instance, write your own script and try.

sir i read u reply to one of our member iam also facing this problem here iam having 2000 server o/s, 9i database at the time i didnot take backup kindly give optimistic solution

hi,
accutally iam running 9i database on 2000 server some virus is corrupted os file and i d't take backup now i have only database file. kindly tell me how to restore the database file and rebuilt database
