Hi,

I want to know that whether oracle has introduced its own media management software in 10g R2 or not.

Long back I had heared that oracle is going to integrate its own media management agent in 10g R2, so I want to know whether its there or not.

And if not then it means once again I have to use some other third party agents like veritas,netvault etc to access the tape drives from RMAN.

Looking for an early response.....

Oracle 10g Release 2 shipped without Oracle Secure Backup.

Apparently they will make this available later as a separate patch or patch-set.
