Sir/madam
Is cloning a database is better option than recovering through RMAN? How do we implement the best option?

i dont get get you.
cloning is
creating another database like a new database
recovery / restoration is
re-creating the same database as it was before
if you use RMAN, logically
CLONING OR THE RESTORATION IS ONE AND THE SAME.
in case of cloning you are going to create a new database somewhere else (from the backup).
in case of restoration you are restoring the old datbase( from the backup).
